In a world where compassion and community matter more than ever, Oxford Edge is part of many charitable communities.
One of these is The Gut Foundation, which helps improve the gut health of New Zealanders by promoting research and education about gut diseases and disorders, a silent killer in our community.
The foundation has raised over $1m to fund its projects. Oxford Edge contributes in a variety of ways, with OE team members playing key roles in the charity.
Director Graeme Rhodes is a Trustee and the foundation’s Treasurer. As well as Trustee duties with the Board, he is involved with the financial affairs and regularly meets with Chair Alice Fitzgerald to compare forecast versus budget and keep the foundation on track financially.
Oxford Edge Assistant Manager Crista Sumner takes many tasks off Alice’s hands, such as managing the foundation’s Xero file.
Our Front of House, Diana Queen-Lucas, does the payroll and helps with meeting set-ups and onboarding new staff.
We also provide sponsored workspace and meeting spaces for Gut Foundation meetings.
We are committed to helping The Gut Foundation raise awareness and generate support for this important charity within the community.
Knowing that we’ve positively affected someone’s life brings immense satisfaction and we are proud to help build stronger communities and make a tangible difference.
Our impact extends beyond numbers, it’s about the lives we touch and the hope we foster. Thank you to Alice and everyone at The Gut Foundation for all your incredible work! 🙏❤️
