We are so pleased with the results of our office renovations. They tick all the boxes for what we wanted to achieve. The new spaces are fit for purpose and much more functional than what we had before. More comfortable and modern, too – after 10 years we needed a refresh at the least.
We went much further than that. The technology has been significantly updated. Clients can easily share their laptops with us in meetings. Screens double as whiteboards. And there are better cameras and sound for the new age of Zoom and Teams.
Other elements of the refit, such as breakout areas, collaboration spaces and stand-up desks, are bringing the team closer together and improving the working environment.
Refitting an office raises the question of what to do with the old stuff. Oxford Edge partnered with zero-waste charity All Heart NZ to redirect, reduce and repurpose as much as possible.
All Heart NZ’s aim is to create a circular economy for unwanted corporate furniture and equipment, redirecting it away from landfill and to community organisations that can make good use of it.
